PARO
Paro is a historic valley, town, and district in Bhutan known for its scenic beauty, rich culture, and numerous ancient monasteries, including the famous Tiger's Nest Monastery.

It is a major pilgrimage site where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated in the 8th century, after flying to the location on the back of a tigress.

TAKTSANG MONASTERY
Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest, is a sacred Buddhist temple complex built on a cliffside in the Paro valley of Bhutan.


PARO VALLEY VIEW
It is a fertile valley with many ancient temples, monasteries, and terraced fields of red rice.



RINPUNG DZONG
Rinpung Dzong, also known as Paro Dzong, is a historic fortress-monastery in Paro, Bhutan, built in 1644 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
